What a SHOCKER!!!

Hey, well…

Where do I start, first I have been crook all week, last time I wrote I was about to go to the doctor,I did and he was pretty good at letting me know I had bronchitis, and at first I was like oh yeah, I’ll be sweet couple days off, but now its seriously been a full week and I got 1 antibiotic left (which have started to hurt my guts), and I’m still not qutie right, so now I’m getting a little pissed off and frustrated, but what can ya do!!!!  The things that makes me angry the most is Oceanias are 14 days away and I cant ride more then 1.5 hrs without being stuffed or coughing my lungs out… so not sure what I should do…..grrrr..

Anyway, besides that minor detail, the one thing that has totally put a HUGE smile on my face and I’m soo excited about is the  new “KIWIVELO CHICK” kit I got!!! Osh my gosh its soooooo cool, ok its blak white and….. wait for it…. PINK!!!! oh its so cool, I know I know its pink….. but I love it!!Stragne things have been happening this year, I think i’m turning into a girl!!!! Its so white and clean and looks funky!! And the chamios, oh man its womens specific and the most comfy pair of shorts I’ve EVER worn…. right, so.. just thought you’d like to know!! oooh its so exciting!!

The other wicked thing is, I actually got myself a set of SRM cranks….. yeah its like “ripleys believe it or not” I actually do! I’ll have them in about 2 days. So I’ve gone from the huffo-puffo meter …heheh my lungs to an actual thing that will tell me exactly how much I’m actually trying or hurting myself… Ohhhh I can see Lynn’s mind ticking over, getting ready to hammer me….. (once I’m healthy of course)

Its pretty scary that a set of cranks cost the same as a complete 2nd had full carbon bike …………. Which brings me to the next topic, I gotta sell my old Santesi icon, medium size… if anyone knows anyone that might know someone who wants a bike…  e mail me   marinaduvnjak@hotmail.com can give more info then, basically i’ve had it for about 18months but I only used it for 11…. its just been sitting there, will get it fully serviced and stuff..

Bok!!

Hey, well another weekd down and more stuff to write  so people at work can read!!! :)

Ok so last week was starting to pick up, and another small miracle happened I managed to follow my training prog, without changing a thing for 10 days straight! nice one!!  and then it all turned to shit after Tuesday night!
I went to the North Harbour crit and had to start A grade - big mistake-  about 15 or so startrers, the wind was a bastard and it was strung out from go! so I was like almost dying after the 3rd lap and by  the 5th lap that was it, I popped! Anyway I tried to get back into it like 3 times but nah, was toast! mind you I wasnt the only one about 4 others pulled out and at least 3 were lapped once! so there!!!!!! I’m just a girl!!  Anyway the point to this sltory was, yesterday I spent all day in bed or at work, last night I got no sleep again as my f****ng lungs hurt and I’m coughing up shite and I was sooooo hungry at like 3.30am!! what the ?? nothing like a nutella and banana sandwich!!!! yum!!! 
So anyway, the road nats were on over the weekend and I only went out on the Saturday to have a look, quite a few people out, not like last year only bloody cows and sheep left to see the race finish!!  Well done my old roomie Ali!! cleaned up, like I knew she would!! :)  wicked!!!
Think I might be getting a new bike soon!! Pretty exciting, the Genius Il Falco I think has done its time!! Its been fun but i think I need to step it up!!!!

Back into it!!!

Hey

Well last week I have no idea what I wrote, probably something depressing, but this week’s starting to pick up!! woohoo!! I’m on my last couple of days on antibiotics, and im actually enjoying the riding… so its all good!

I must admit the couple of weekends just being able to relax and go out and have a normal life and actually having a wicked time (wont go into details….hehehe) its been soooo good!!!

Lyn’s sent through a program for the next couple of weeks and its bloody hard, but all I got is my work and riding so its all good, will give it a good nudge!!  Oceanias are coming up fast…

Went along to the North Harbour Crit today, did B grade and got soooo much shit for it (Lynn told me to!!!), but man it was pretty darn hard, man I was just stoked not to get dropped!! sheesh…   might give A grade a nudge next week…

Hey still looking for an ERG, if anyone has one out there???!!!!!!! 
Club Road nats are on in Auckland this weekend and I’m not racing, but might go out and have a looksie…. theres heaps of riders which is awesome to see!!!  more popel to party with….. kidding….well…

Hey ….

Hi people!!

 Well its been 2.5 weeks at home now, and it was a bit of a rough start to my homecoming, but things are starting to settle down and I’m slowly getting back into training.. yay…

Finally started riding today, actually today was the 2nd day in a row, woohoo!!!  This morning  I had 3 stitches removed from my face (minor detail), and got put on antibiotics, for my throat… grrrr… I just had 3 weeks off and now my body decides to give me shit!!!!

 Oceanias are in like 5 weeks or so and even though I was really excited . I’m kinda crapping myself… will have to see what happens… which reminds me!! Does anyone have an Erg  they could lend me???? anyone????  Would be a great help…

 Tomorrow night is the first of the North Harbour Crits, Im not racing but will go out and ride with some of the younger girls in C grade, actually looking forward to it, as long as I dont get dropped!! heheh   Its pretty wierd  after living in France with 7 girls for 5 months its actually quite hard, almost slightly depressing…. hehe.. man it was a wicked experience.. miss the girls!!
